Fairies of the
Northern Woods
A beautifully illustrated tale of the enchanted Northern Woods — where fairies dance above fiddlehead ferns and a half-elf named Fionella welcomes all who find their way in.
Welcome, dear friend
You've found your way to the Northern Woods — home of Fionella Fiddlehead, part-elf, full-hearted, and keeper of the most extraordinary friendships. Look closely at her left ear. Notice anything?
She has been waiting for you. Come in. The moss is soft, the light is golden, and there are stories to tell.
Among the old stones
Fionella Fiddlehead
She's part elf — though you might not know it unless you notice the crimp in her left ear. She has large, warm eyes and a round face that even the very smallest children find immediately trustworthy.
Her friends include fairies, elves, and goblins of the friendliest sort. Together they live in the Northern Woods, where the moss grows on the north side of everything and the trees know everyone's name.
